    Entering the Old Prison will take you far beyond your imagination. Much more than a historical building, it offers a glimpse into the lives of prisoners during the 1960's and 70's. A unique experience in a unique setting where the guides are former inmates whose personal experiences reveal a totally different reality - that of the cells, dungeons, the "hole", the chapel and the parlour!

    Located within the historic walls of the filtration plant of the Canadian International Paper Company, Boréalis invites you to discover the remains of a large industry through spectacular exhibitions!   • Sanctuaire Notre-Dame-du-Cap

    In the heart of the Chemin du Roy, the sanctuary is one of Québec's most important pilgrimage destinations, the only one dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The sanctuary is located on a breathtaking natural site surrounded by gardens on the shores of the Saint Lawrence River.

  • Forges du Saint-Maurice National Historic Site of Canada

    Founded in 1730, this national historic and heritage site is home to the vestiges of Canada's first industrial community. Property of Parks Canada, the venue proudly preserves and explains over 150 years of iron industry operations along the banks of the Saint-Maurice River.

  • La Mauricie National Park of Canada

    This park invites you for a close encounter with the Laurentians, the chain of mountains that borders the northern shore of the Saint Lawrence River. Aboard a Rabaska canoe, prepare for a trip through time and space by following in the traces of the great glaciers, visiting an First Nation camp, or simply exploring aquatic wildlife.

    The first road in Canada suitable for vehicle travel, this historic and panoramic road borders the river and offers a view of Québec's heritage gems. Discover a seigniorial mill (1765), a historic presbytery (1816) and a seigniorial estate on a guided tour given by specialized guides and animators in period attire.

    Trois-Rivières regional airport is located at a few kilometers from the downtown area and offers charter planes.
