  • Forillon National Park of Canada

    At the end of the Appalachian Mountains, Forillon has what Gaspé most generously has to offer. Grandiose landscapes inhabited by a diversified flora and fauna, and the rich and captivating history of the fishermen and merchants of the early 20th century.

  • Bonaventure Island and Percé Rock National Park

    A jewel of a park, where nature is at it grandest and the discoveries are memorable. Visiting the area of Bonaventure Island that harbours the most important colony of Northern gannets in the world, a hike to Percé Rock and the discovery of the historic Charles Robin complex, are just some of the most enjoyable activities in Québec.

    The tip of the Gaspé Peninsula is a great spot to whale watch. In addition to attracting blue whales, humpback whales, fin whales and small rorquals, you will often see dolphins, porpoises and seals.

    Parc du Bourg de Pabos and the Mary Travers site know as

    The interpretation centre at Bourg de Pabos offers visitors the opportunity to learn more about the lives of fishermen on a seigniory established under the French regime. Discover the Site Mary Travers, which pays homage to Mary Travers, also known as La Bolduc, the first singer-songwriter-composer of Québec and French Canada.

  • Musée de la Gaspésie and Gespeg Micmac Interpretation Site

    Musée de la Gaspésie and Gespeg Micmac Interpretation Site

    Set up on the Pointe Jacques Cartier site, the Musée de la Gaspésie conserves and promotes the cultural, artistic and historic heritage of the region. The Gespeg Micmac interpretation site invites you to experience the lives of the first Gaspesians in the 17th century.

  • Carrefour national de l'aquaculture et des pêches (CANAP)

    The National Aquaculture and Fisheries Development Centre (CANAP) at Grande-Rivière is a window unto the marine sciences, marine-related professions and products of the sea. Unconventional by design, the CANAP complex is intended to blend harmoniously into the local surroundings and promises visitors a fabulous, one-of-a-kind encounter with the world of aquaculture. The facilities include a theme park, giant aquarium, tactile basin, breeding laboratory, multimedia presentations, tastings of local sea-based products and a retail shop.

  • Scuba diving and sea kayaking

    The tip of the Gaspé Peninsula has a spectacular landscape and an exceptional seabed. Guided sea-kayak tours and scuba diving excursions allow you to appreciate one of the most beautiful underwater landscapes in Québec.

  • Sightseeing by rail

    Sightseeing by rail

    The trip by rail from Gaspé to Percé is a truly unforgettable experience. The train gently winds its way round the capes and along a breathtaking succession of cliffs and bays over a distance of a hundred kilometres or so. The Gaspé Bay, the cliffs of Forillon National Park, the sandbar at Malbaie, the unique coastal escarpment at Percé and the legendary rock of the same name figure among the most outstanding panoramas of Canada's East Coast.

    The tip of the Gaspé Peninsula groups a wide variety of restaurants. Choose among gourmet specialities, and cafés and bistros with local and regional specialities that are always on the menu.

  • Shopping  

    In the heart of the village of Percé, stroll among an impressive variety of boutiques, artisan workshops and souvenir shops. Take a stroll down Rue de la Reine in downtown Gaspé and discover a multitude of boutiques offering local and artistic products, and much more. The region also has three shopping centres to meet the needs of passengers and crew members.

  • Airport 
    Directions from the port

    Gaspé's regional airport offers direct flights throughout Québec and Montréal. The airport is located 10 km from the Port of Gaspé, 70 km from Percé and 113 km from Chandler.
