Did you know that...?

2017 calendar ripe with promise

Although the 2016 season ended only a few weeks back, port of call executive directors are already hard at work planning and organizing the next season which is shaping up to be a busy one.

Our ports of embarkation and disembarkation at Montréal and Québec each report impressive bookings to date, with passenger volume projected to rise by about 25%. Growth of this order would, quite naturally, spur traffic at our other Québec-based ports of call. For Saguenay's 11th season, port officials currently show more than 50 ship visits, representing growth nothing short of remarkable in just a decade.

The Canada-New England itinerary continues to attract travellers intrigued by the diversity of our ports of call which feature a combination of culture, history and nature at its grandest. Visitors to our shores in 2017 will delight in the festivities being organized in honour of the 150th anniversary of Canadian confederation and 375th anniversary of the founding of Montréal.

In addition, Cruise the Saint Lawrence will have the pleasure of hosting the 19th edition of the Cruise Canada New England Symposium in Montréal from June 13th to 15th. This event will afford all member ports of call an opportunity to showcase what makes them unique and authentic to international cruise line decision makers.
