Why a greeting policy? 

In 2013, Cruise the Saint Lawrence introduced a greeting policy at each of the destination’s nine member ports of call.

Focusing on the warm, welcoming ways of the Québec people, the policy enabled Destination Saint Lawrence to distinguish itself on the world stage and introduce standards of quality governing the welcoming of cruise ship passengers.

Efforts in this regard have generated handsome rewards. In the years since, several ports of call have merited won awards for operating efficiency and quality of the welcome extended.
